Today was our last visit to the Ocean Lab this school year. As usual, Ms. Valaster made it an awesome one! The kids enjoyed a quick lesson reviewing the many different things they have learned about this school year and then headed out the door.
Their first stop was our front yard, where they listened for directions and ventured out with their "Scientist Team" to gather non-living items. Look at the teamwork going on.
After a few minutes, the scientists took a field trip across the street, to the beach, in order to seek out more non-living items. Look at the great opportunities our students have during the school day!
Finally, we went back inside the Ocean Lab and explored our findings with hands-on activities.
The kids had a great time and have developed another love for learning! Please help keep the Ocean Lab at our school next year. Trackapalooza is our upcoming fundraiser for this and we would LOVE your support! Ask your child, grandchild, niece, or nephew. If you would like more information, please comment below and I'll be in touch.
A special thank you to Ms. Valaster for all she does for the students at St. Simons Elementary!
