We made the paper again!  Look at our next group of published authors.  I am so proud of all their hard work!

I am so pleased to share that we currently have 11 published authors in our classroom.  Our class is focusing on opinion writing and submitted some letters to The Brunswick News!

Valentine's Day

We celebrated Valentine's Day on Friday, February 13, this year!  It was a day filled with LOVE!  We opened our Valentine Cards and had a special snack with a "Love Potion" ... it could not have been any better received by the kids.  Look how much fun they had.

 

 

 

 

I think my favorite part was the "SWEETHEART" necklaces they made.  The kids were so proud of them!

 

Our day concluded in the gym with Jump Rope for Heart.

 

 

 

 

Math Night

Thank  you to all the families that came for Math Night!  We had a classroom full of activities and lots of smiles.  Here are just a few of the pictures I took.  Each family received a sheet with the directions for a ton of math games that can be played at home using a deck of cards, dice, or dominoes.  We really wanted to show that learning is fun...                  at least we seem to think so!
